Live Animal Christmas Play 2009

So top on the priority list this month has been the Christmas play our church does every year. It's a pretty major play, probably the largest in this part of Iowa...hmm... in the Midwest may i dare say. (correct me if I'm wrong.) There are 5 showings starting Friday night the 11th through Sunday. We already have over 700 seats reserved.

The first tear I was cast in it was 2006. I was in the opening scene, playing my fiddle on the front porch of a log cabin in the smoky mountains. Then i was in the '08 play and just did filler scenes.

This year I have lots of different rolls throughout the play lots of filler scenes and such. BUT... I'm really excited about my speaking part. I am a fictional character that was in the palace the night Herod gave the order to kill baby Jesus. I come back 33 years later to tell my experience. All in all, my part is very dramatic. Lots of crying and begging for my life, being drug up the center isle, being told my head was going to come off... YEAH! :)

Speaking of which... that's where I'm headed now! Stay tuned for more pictures and even video clippage to come! :)

hey friends!

wow... so much has happened in the last two months i don't know where to start. God has taken me down a path that i would never had imagined. i wish i could go into all of it now but because of limited time i won't.

tomorrow i will be embarking on an adventure to indiana where i will be taking a CNA coarse for a month. i would covet your prayers as it is a very intense program.

when i return i hope to fill you all in on some of the things God is doing and update you on my class!

Wishing...

... for days like these!

Hey all! just wanted to give you a little update on my life.

Work is going great. To those of you who don't know, i work at a small newspaper in Washington. I work in the accounting department doing the billing end of things. I have my own little desk and office space with a computer. Which makes me feel very important. ;) LOL! *(and yes i give MEMOS) We just finished month end, so now life goes back to normal around the office. We can have a little breathing room.

My cousin Anna, is staying with us til Monday so that's fun having her around. We always have crazy wonderful times.

On Friday night Nicole, Anna, and I are going over to watch 'Fireproof' with Kyle and his sister Krista. Our family watched it the other night and it's GREAT! I totally recommend it! But since Kyles cooped up were going to have a little party with him. Keep praying for continued healing for him.

Saturday i think I'll take a walk and soak up some of that sun and warm weather we're suppose to get!
